In my works, I explore the creative as well as the destructive power of love and the attempt to find a balance within.
This visual essay pictures the polarised pull between the life instinct "Eros", the creative force, and the dead drive or the "Memonto Mori".
This body of works navigates the borderlands between
creation and destruction,
desire and suffering,
pleasure and guilt,
dream and alertness,
consciouness and unconsciousness.
